Everything about these feel like quality. The box they come in is suitable for gift presentation (which is my intention -- I've got a friend who has Reynaud's syndrome and her poor fingers are always freezing). Included in the box is a USB charging cord that has a split output, so you can charge both warmers at once. There is a small instruction booklet which is easy to follow. There are hidden lights (you don't know they're there until they light up) on the side, that indicate power (heat) level and battery life remaining.
These get HOT! I couldn't use them past the lowest level. The power buttons are easy to access, but I believe that because of where they're placed on the devices, it's probably less likely to be accidentally turned on when bouncing around in your pocket. The charging ports have a built-in rubber cover to keep out yuckies.
Overall I'm very pleased with these, and now I want to get a pair for myself.
Of course being small also means that these UT5 Sway hand warmers have smaller batteries than larger units, but the heat still lasts for hours - plenty enough for most excursions. Recharging them is easy with the included dual USB-C cable, though you will need to provide your own USB power source. Operation is very easy. Press and hold the button for a moment to turn them on or off. Clicking the button while they're on changes the heat level, which can be checked with the 3 LEDs on the side. Those LEDs can also be used to show the estimated battery level. Note that the heat seems to come from one side of each hand warmer.
The UT5 Sway hand warmers are small, nice looking, and convenient... and just what your hands need in cold winter weather!
This is the 3rd generation of their hand warmers I've owned. I gave my husband my first set and they're still going strong several years later. But the last generation dropped the pretty floral print and I just had to have them. That was the only reason I upgraded to the new model.
Then I just noticed this new set which also had a floral option which is my weakness. And I was looking through all the stats to determine if it was crazy to have another set that does almost the same thing and we're so similar but these are so small, light and useful that they're good to have in multiple locations.
They work really well. They heat up fast. The battery life is incredible. This is the smallest and lightest model they've made this far. They fit in pockets, gloves, hoodie pouches, socks, slippers, etc.
They really come in handy to take the edge off the cold. You can leave them in your purse or glovebox or with your keys by the door when having to run out.
The difference between running out in the cold to close the gate, check the mail, grab something last minute at the store or pickup a kid by meeting cold air face first is so uncomfortable, but with these it's far less annoying. It keeps me in a better mood dealing with life's unpredictable variables in winter.
The trouble with insulating clothing is that it helps retain your personal body heat but what they don't tell you is that some people don't generate much of their own heat so thicker clothing isn't the answer. It's a device like this that produces steady supplemental heat.
It keeps arthritis in my hands from flaring when jumping into a cold car and having to grab the steering wheel. It helps to activate when leaving a store to carry groceries into and through the cold.
And it's easier to force myself out of bed on winter mornings if j slap these at the bottoms of my feet against the soles of my slippers while I lay in bed for a few minutes mapping out my day.

These warmers lack magnetic features, only provides warmth on one side (the glossy side) and are not suited for rugged environments or extreme weather. They heat up quickly, within seconds, but should be used with gloves initially or on the lowest setting to avoid burns. The glossy, stylish design is attractive, but they may show scratches with prolonged use. The dual-port USB-C charging cable also allows convenient simultaneous recharging of both warmers. Also, the package does not include a storage bag, which may inconvenience some users.

The coloring and shell of the hand warmers are super nice! Even though we've dropped them in pockets, boots, backpacks and purses, they have scratched or dented! They've held up to the test of an Alaskan winter, two kids and two adults!
They are super easy to use and the magnet/strap on them make them super functional.

They come with a USB A to DUAL usb C charger. This allows you to charge both hot hands at the same time.
One thing to note, only one side of the warmer gets hot. The backside, the side with the magnet, does not warm. If you magnet them together, you can have dual sided heat. You can also keep them separate and have heat from one side.
After buying the first set and using them, I have since ordered a second set. Well made construction and they just work.
It does include a little pouch to keep them inside, when not in use. The family really does like them.
