I am reviewing the Kitchen in the Box Cold Pressed Juicer. Out of the box, it’s a stunning candy apple red-colored machine. It was nicely packaged for shipping and easy to assemble. I did struggle at first with the silicone sleeve that fits on the motor spindle; it made securing the top chute difficult. It was easily repositioned and is easy to secure now. In use, the juicer is a rock star. I had a few mangoes that I wanted to test with this machine, and it worked flawlessly. The pulp was dry, and the mango juice was thick. I use apples and oranges regularly for fresh juice; just quarter them and put them in the flip chute, peel and all. The results are amazing. I can’t wait to try tomatoes to see if I can get a thick sauce for pasta. The machine is fairly quiet during operation, and disassembly was easy for cleaning. I was pleased with its performance and impressed with the results.

I’ve been using this cold press juicer for a couple of weeks now, and the wide feed chute has probably been my favourite part as I don’t need to chop everything into tiny pieces. The smaller chute is also helpful for longer veggies like celery. It definitely makes prep feel less tedious.
Setup was pretty straightforward, especially with the instructions. There’s a safety feature that won’t let the juicer run unless everything is in place, which gave me some peace of mind. The parts are BPA-free, and cleaning hasn’t been too bad; there is also a reverse function that helps if something gets stuck which has been helpful. Juice comes out smooth with very little pulp, and the anti-drip spout keeps things cleaner than some other juicers I’ve tried in the past. It’s not silent, but the motor is steady and feels strong enough to handle tougher ingredients, which is a good trade-off for me.
All in all, it’s been working really well for me since I started using it 3 weeks ago. I’ve used it almost daily without issues, and it fits nicely on the counter without taking up too much space, thanks to it's nice design I don't mind leaving it on the counter.

As with all juicers there are pros and cons. Overall this juicer gets a thumbs up because of the quality of the juice that comes out. Its a cold press juicer so the nutrients are higher than with one that heats the juice too much. I appreciated the large "on" button, the power of the juicer itself, and the clearness of the juice product. Also it doesn't turn on the counter like my other juicer. The cons are with all juicers, they ae difficult to put together and difficult to clean. Its just the nature of the product.

An affordable juicer that performs well and is also a looker! I like the way that it's designed, very easy to assemble and to take apart for cleaning. Cleaning is standard for modern juicers and I've had no difficulties, it takes me 1 minute to rinse all the parts. It performs well, making a moderate amount of noise and takes pretty big pieces of fruit, as well as whole smaller fruit and veggies. It doesn't get stuck on hard stuff like carrots, but it will take its sweet time to finish, which is fine with me. I prefer a good quality juice over a fast juice. It leaves the pulp moist but not wet. A bit of pulp does fall into the juice, along with foam, which I stop by placing a dense strainer between the spout and the cup. It looks durable and the size is acceptable for an apartment counter top. It fits under and isn't as bulky as the others that I ended up not using for this reason. I think it's a bargain for the price, it would make an excellent gift and it contributes to a healthy lifestyle in our home!

Juice comes out smooth with barely any foam. Leftover is relatively dry, so it pulls a lot from soft fruits and greens. Setup is quick and the chute fits decent sized pieces, though big fruits still need cutting. The parts connect well and the filter feels strong. I like how I don't have to completely skin them.
Harder stuff like carrots or beets slow it down. It works, but not fast. Cleanup takes time with all the little corners, especially after a big batch.
The control is simple: on, off, reverse. Nothing fancy, but the reverse is a great function to have a peace of mind about. Better suited for soft fruits and when making a few bottles at once.

This was my first masticating juicer. I had been wanting one for some time because I heard that they were the best for extracting nutrients. Since this is my first masticating juicer, I really can’t compare it to any others, but I can say that I was not unhappy with the noise level or the pulp. It was easy to use and typical juicer cleanup as expected. I love the large shoot for adding whole fruits and vegetables, although I still cut some of it. I’ve only used the juicer a few times, but so far I really like it. I believe it is a good value for the money and I would consider buying this model or brand again.

So, here’s the juice—literally. This “Kitchen in the Box” Cold Press Juicer does what it promises: high-yield, low-oxidation, nutrient-rich juice from full fruits and veggies... once you survive the installation Olympics.
The 3.26" wide chute is awesome for dropping in apples whole (unless you enjoy chopping like it’s a cooking show). The juice comes out fresh, smooth, and way less pulpy than cheaper models. But fair warning: if aligning parts were a competitive sport, this thing would be the finals. And the manual? Let’s just say it's a suggestion.
Cleaning isn’t too bad—unless you're scrubbing the mesh basket or that oddly stubborn pulp flap. Bonus points for BPA-free build, solid motor, and sleek bright silver design. But don’t rush it. If you jam the parts, you might be refrigerating your juicer to get it unstuck.
Bottom line: Fantastic juice. Frustrating build. You'll either love it or start drinking smoothies out of spite.

I've reviewed a couple other slow masticating juicers and this is one of the better ones I reviewed. Typical to most juicers to have 2 chutes, one for long and one large. I like the larger chute of this juicer compared with the ones I tried. Unlike other units I tried, where it has soft, hard and reverse, this machine only has on and reverse. Just for comparison, this just means this machine can handle anything and you don't need to choose whether the fruit/veggie you're juicing is hard or soft.
So far I've tried juicing celery, apple, carrots, and ginger and this machine juiced each to the last pulp. The noise level is ok, it was noisier when I plugged in the carrots but no big deal.
Cleaning is easy as it disassembles quick and you just need to wash all the parts with water. You just need brush the lower portion of filter basket to make sure there's no residue that's left. Make sure to clean all the parts after juicing, it's easier to wash off all residues that way
It's not cheap for $199 (at the time of this review) but it works really well and yields lots of juices for me.

Short Take: Nice juicer. Runs Well, Sets up and Cleans up easily. Limited work cycle. 10 minutes per half hour.
Longer Version:
This juicer works on a mashing principle instead of a cutting principle. A slow turning element grabs your fruit or vegetables and mashes it against a screening plate. This crushes the food, extracting the juice and sending it to a collecting cup while directing the left over pulp into another cup. According to the manual, which is mostly readible with some errors, this low-speed low-heat method preserves flavor and nutrition.
I can't speak to that but the juice is tasty.
Assembly is easy. Each piece is marked with red dots to show proper alignment, and the unit will beep if you assemble and lock it down properly.
I ran three tests: grapes, mandarin oranges and honeycrisp apples.
The grapes were easiest. I fed about a half pound of green grapes into the small hopper, and watched as the machine pulled them in, squeezed them, and moved the pulp out the side while the juice flowed. There wasn't much noise, which makes sense since grapes are an easy load. My wife and I tasted the juice, and it had a much milder flavor than grape juice from the store. It reminded me of fruit cocktail, which is often packed in white grape juice. I imagine red or black grapes will have a much stronger flavor.
Looking in the machine after running it, I found a couple of half grapes that weren't totally squeezed and a bunch of pulp.
Clean up was pretty easy with two exceptions. The lowest part of the mesh basket has the finest grating, and while the outside is easy to get to with the provided brush, the inside of the mesh is tough to get to. Still, it was fairly quick to get it completely clean.
The other issue was the pulp spout. It has a plastic guard that works to keep the spout sealed for juice and only allow pulp to go through. Cleanig the spout with this in place is tough. It is built to swivel out of the way, but I worry that constantly pulling it out and forcing it back in will cause it to fail. The other option is to use the back end of the provided brush to push the residues out and clean it that way.
Once it was clean, I ran the mandarin oranges (I chose mandarins because they are seedless and easy to peel.) and they ran through easily as well.
The last test was the honeycrisp apples. I sliced and cored the apples before feeding them in. The pictures sho whole apples being fed through the juicer. It would probably work, but put a lot of strain on the motor and the body. SLicing the apples didn't take much time, and resulted in much less strain on the unit.
I could hear the motor noice get louder with the apples, but since honey crisp are a relatively soft and juicy apple, they processed through with no problem.
A couple of things to look out for. First, when cleaning the unit, make sure to put a strainer over the drain in your sink. The pulp gets pretty fine and could cause clogs in your plumbing if you don't. If you compost, the pulp would work well for that, I imagine. Scond, the instructions give a list of fruits to avoid, including lemons (Not limes though. Not sure why.) My guess is lemon will cause the clear plastic parts to get cloudy, but I don't know for sure.
Bottom line: At $250, this isn't cheap at all. But it does get the job done, efficiently, and mostly quietly. Cleanup is pretty easy, taking less than 10 minutes when all is done.
It does what it is supposed to do, quickly, efficiently, and with minimal effort. That's a winner.
