The navy is a great color with jeans and I like that the off-white is crisp but not too high contrast.
Thank you!
Hope this helps anyone who's unsure about sizing or on the fence about ordering!

As these shoes have inevitably grown in popularity, its price has also climbed over the years. I always look back at my old Amazon order and wish I purchased multiple backup pairs.
Regardless, I always end up replacing these throughout the years, whatever the current price, as nothing has beaten the comfort & timeless look of the Mexico 66s!
履き心地はもとよりとカラーが大好きです
またデザインも他のウォーキングスニーカーと違ってスッキリして見栄えが良いと思います

Quality 10/10 I bought from the Onitsuka Tiger seller on Amazon, what I received was the genuine, made in Indonesia pair of Onitsuka's. From another review, the ones that are made in Vietnam are of the poor quality, these one's on Amazon are the real deal. The leather seems of good quality, I cannot judge 100% as of now since I've owned them for a few hours but they seem alright. I don't know about everyone else but mines actually came with arch support soles. It felt awkward at first but once I got used to them they are super comfortable. The laces are of high quality, it's not your usual shoe lace, it feels a bit more soft and less tight feeling. The bottom sole is flat which I love, I wore these to the gym and they are great to squat in. I LOVE the retro look, these are timeless and personally a must own. One of the best pair of shoes I've ever purchased. Get this gem before it disappears forever!
Pros:
- Awesome, classic styling. I get comments on them from people from time to time wondering what brand they are.
- After wearing them for several months, leather seems to be holding up, along with the suede portions.
- Narrow fit that feels snug. This is great as I have a bit more narrow feet than others. These fit perfect.
- Size was appropriate. I've worn 10's all my life and these fit exactly as others.
Cons:
- Not a con for me at all, but wide feet beware. These are fairly narrow.
- Some of the material feels a bit thin. I am worried about wear over time, but for now it is holding up.
Overall, I've very please with this shoe. Not sure how, but I got these (black/white pair) for $33. I see the price is now normally around $60. Not sure I'd be pleased paying over $50 for these, as I feel that's the maximum I'd pay for a shoe like this, because I just don't see them holding up with daily use for several years. If you can find them for a bit under $60, I think it's absolutely worth it.
Why do I like them so much? First of all, they are a little wider in the toe box than many other athletic shoes. Since I have wider feet, they fit me more comfortably than the medium width of other companies. They're not New Balance or Ascis wide but the Onitsuka "medium" is not really narrow like some sneaker brands. I wear an 11 in street shoes but I take an 11.5 to 12 in sneakers. With the Onitsukas, I go with a 12 although I think an 11.5 might fit okay. (To update, I will add that I've bought two more pair of these shoes since the original review. I went with 11.5 this time and they fit me even better than the 12. If you have wide feet, I suggest you order your regular sneaker size and see how they fit.) Twelve is a little too long for my feet but it allows plenty of room for my toes to wiggle around. I also like the soft, thin leather that quickly conforms to the shape of my foot. They are comfortable without having a lot of padding or excess material in the upper. The thin sole contributes to the feeling of being barefoot but it protects the bottom of the foot well. They offer some arch support but mostly they are flat soled shoes for normal feet. The insole is glued in place but it could be ripped out and replaced if desired but it would be better to just buy a different shoe if you plan to do that. These shoes are lightweight and feel insubstantial, however, they seem to handle wear very well. They also look nice. These are not overbuilt athletic shoes, they are comfortable everyday sneakers with a retro look.
The downside is the price unless you find them at a bargain in your size and an agreeable color. Amazon has been a good source for me to find Tigers without spending a fortune. The only other downside I can think of is the fact that the thin sole means some of my pants run a bit long and drag the ground when wearing these shoes.
Note: These shoes are the opposite of non-slip. On ice and wet floors, they are noticeably MORE slippery than other shoes. On linoleum or tile floors, water might as well be Astro-Glide.
EDIT, FOUR MONTHS AFTER POSTING THIS INITIAL REVIEW: I still love them. On the outside, they're still in great shape. They almost look new, except for some wrinkles in the leather--a result of it taking the shape of my foot.
One drawback I did not consider: They're leather, so heat and moisture have nowhere to go. At the end of a long day (waiting tables) my feet come out of these shoes smelling like they never have with any other pair of shoes. My recommendation: Don't wear them when you're going to be on your feet running around like a maniac for six to eight hours without an opportunity to remove them and let your feet (and the shoes) breathe.
